Went To CELEBRATE LIYANA's Birthday with Farie.
We watched THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.

A Very GOOD Movie that Keanu Reeves acted in,
playing the role of an alien who came to earth to
save her from humans who polluted earth badly.

He only changed his mind about destroying humans after
seeing that a change is actually possible.

The actions in the movie was AWESOME.

Then, we ate at LJS.

Can't believe i actually had three pieces of LJS chicken.

Next, BORDERS.
A wonderful place to hang out when you're FULL.
First stop was of course the CD section.
But there weren't good cds.

Then, we left.
A lot of crazy stuffs occured along our way home.

X FACTOR 2008

Lately, i've been warching X Factor 2008
and believe it, i got so addicted to the show that
i watched it for more than 10 weeks.

Simply because the live and result show was on every Saturday.
I could only watch it on Sundays when the videos were already uploaded on Youtube.So, i watched it from the Audtions to the Bootcamp to Top 3 (per catogery) selection in the Judges House to the Live Shows, Semi-Finals and lastly FINALS.

This everlasting addiction all started when i watched this video about a girl named Alexandra Burke who auditioned for this year's X factor, after being thrown away in the same contest three years ago during the Top 3 (per catogery) selection in the Judges House.

I've been so bloody buzy for this 2 weeks
Went for the AKLTG MEGA COACH TRAINING between 10-12.
Met wondeful bunch of people of the same age and some slightly older.

For three straight days, we had to listen to our GREAT coaches : Bong, Trina,Gary , do fun and crazy activities especially the last day: OWN game and Bingo-cum-Amazing Race.

DRAMA MASTERCLASS

Actually, it's just a Drama Workshop that Hanna and I had to attend just now and it's at Meridean JC. It's part of the drama practices that they had.
It's a fun experience getting to know some really friendly drama members in that JC.

It started with an ice breaking game where we had to really make full use of teamwork, communication skills and awareness of the surroundings. We had to continue passing the ball without letting it touch the ground for at least 10 times. We took around 4 or 5 sets to complete it.

Next, the boat activity. There were 5 people in a "boat" and each of them had a specific character and the boat is sinking. So, they have to convince each other why that one person has to stay on the boat.I was a member of parliament. HAHA.
The last part was funny. Amitha and I were the last two standing. I started laughing when she did all her nonsense.

Then, the host party activity.
I had to play the role of Hitler's enthusiast and there's a moment where i did hitler's trademark wrongly.

MOUNT FABER

Planned to meet Shi Chang, Milli, Kar mun and Gwen at 7 am.
However, i reached there late.
It's all because i had to change the bandage at my left leg.
It took me a really long time.

So, i reached there around 7.08.
The good thing is i'm not the only one who's late.
Haha. Kar mun reached later than me.

We met Mrs Lee, other teachers like Mdm Noreha, Ms Lin, Ms Sng, Mr Tan and Mr J and the commitee. Mr J was very suprised especially after knowing that Our O Level is still not over yet. Then, we set off to trek at MOUNT FABER. YAYE

The best moments of the day include: singing 'I'm Yours', 'Fall For You' and 'Can't Help Falling In Love' with Ms Sng and Gwen and Ms Sng actually gave me constructive feedbacks on how i can improve my voice further.
Taking pictures with junior. Mr Tan being scolded by Mrs Lee for destroying the nature as he stepped on the patch of grasses. And of course, the everlasting journey.

SOCIAL STUDIES : BYE BYE

Yeah. It was SS paper today.
Me Hanna and Sheila freaked out in the morning at Starbucks for nothing
as CONFLICTS CAME OUT in One of the SEQ question. Alhamdulillah.

The first thing i checked when the examiner instructed us to check whether the pages were printed correctly, was The SEQ Section. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. Thankfully, conflicts were in QN 2. At the instance, i knew that people like Hanna Sheila and also Balqis were overjoyed. Bal - she studied so much of conflicts in Prelims but i did not come out then. What's meant to, will always find its way. :)

Despite being shocked looking at the part (a) Qns initially as it was tricky, i was quite pleased as i managed to make connections with other factors and complete the three paragraph outline. Unfortunately, i didn't have time to do balancing.

On top of that, the SBQ was not that easy. It was about attracting foreign talent.
But hopefully i can get a good grade for combined humanities.

WOW! I have not updated for almost a month and a weak.

Last thursday, O LEVEL CHEM/PHY Practical.

Anxiety strucked me when i stepped into the Chem Lab. But i managed to control it.
Then, we had to check for all the apparatus.

When i saw the spring balance( newton-metre, i was quite shocked as we did not practice much on spring balance experiments but i was thankful that Ms Sakinah showed us the past pure phy practical as my o level phy prac was very similar to that one.

I panicked when i saw a lot of long instructions that were very crucial for me to do the practical correctly.

Chem part was the WORST.

It took my a long 10 mins just to understand what i was supposed to do for the first part which only consist of 1 MARK.

THE ONLY TOPICS I STUDIED WAS DIPLOMACY AND DETERRENCE AND NORTHERN IRELAND CONFLICT AND DIPLOMACY AND THE DETERREMCE CAME OUT FOR SEQ. HOWEVER, SBQ WAS NOT EASY

3. BOTH PHY/CHEM PAPER 2 AND 3 (RESPECTIVELY) WERE VERY VERY DIFFICULT TO MANAGE.

MY ESSAY
National Service should be made compulsory for Girls.

Let every eye negotiate for itself, and trust no agent. All girls should feel responsible for the nation's safety in times of danger. They should not be ignorant and only care about themselves. We cannot let other people's opinions or decision affect us. They should not be disturbed by others who are against the idea of Women being too soft and weak to serve National Service. Often other people may disagree that national service should be made compulsory for girls but, I think otherwise.

Japanese Occupation, where Singapore depended greatly on Britain to protect her from the attacks however, it was in vain, was a good example to ensure that people realise that we should work together - both male and female. Singapore's lacking population is the main reason for the small military armed force. The country's security will be weakened when attacked by strong and big country.This means that the women have no choice- they have to serve National Service.

If we don't defend Singapore, who will? Other Countries? Maybe not. Singapore should be defended by its own people. Others may not be there for us when we need them. Instead, they might betray and attacked us back.

Girls might think it is a waste of time and energy when there are well-built men who protect the nation. What happens if there's a war ? War that can cause the deaths of numerous men, and abandoned the women to defend the country all by themselves. Then, they will realise the importance of defending the people they love and ultimately the country. However, it will be too late to realise.

Prevention is better than cure. Would you rather suffer and realise that you could change the situation or make early preparations because you know something bad may happen? Obviously, you will make preparations in advance so that you can counter the challenges that comes in your way. Imagine if Singapore's military force consisted of both men and women, all prepared to safeguard the nation. The aggresors will definitely think twice about attacking Singapore as they have to face almost the whole population of Singapore.

Undoubtedly, National Service should be made compulsory for girls. Hence, Singapore will be able to be well protected and able to prosper in the near future and become the most successful country globally.

Cullen 1st Day-Out

Last saturday was The Best Day ever.
Mainly because it was the cullen's first photoshoot.
Before that, we had to clean Pasir Ris Beach.
I was supposed to meet Hanna and Mai in Bus 17, but i was late.

I reached Pasir Ris Interchange at arnd 7 45 with Ira, Nabillah and Jannah.
Then we joined our class.
BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAI-QH.
We reached the beach Late.

It was so funny to see Ms Sakinah wearing jeans and shirt cos she usually wears Baju Kurung to school.
I asked her this "Cher.Why you didn't wear baju kurung?"
She was sooo PAISEH. Haha. You should see her reaction.

After The Beach-Cleaning, we head down to school with 4e2 people. THNX to Ms Liu who allowed us to board the bus. They are a bunch of fun people. So Shiok!!!

Prelims EL ORAL

2.30 sharp, we assembled at the school hall, getting ready for ORAL examinations.
I was gonna be examined by Ms Tay. 2.35, Jerald, the first candidate made his way to the table to make his 10 min preparation, living behind the other candidates Ding Ping, Wei ler, Ernest, You jie, me Jun wen Ym and Mark.

The funny thing is that all of us were doing our last min preparation like finding substitutes for simple words like happy, sad, angry. Credits to Jonathan who helped a lot. Andy was so hilarious. He kept on asking me for good words and he say "Dun worry.We different examiner so won't be marked down if two people use the same words."

3.15, i made my way to the table and prepare. Tense, Anxious and uneasy. These were the exact feelings that was in me then. I practised the passage and according to Gillian i was too loud. Again. The first time was during Mt O level Oral.But, It's called READING ALOUD and not silent reading. Right? Anyway, I realised that time was moving at a very high speed. I managed to familiarise myself with the passage for about 6 mins which means i only had 4 pathetic mins left for the picture.

Once You Jie was done, i went up to Ms Tay with an uneasy feeling. I made a few mistakes for the reading aloud. Picture discussion not bad. Conversation was the Best. Had fun. Talked about ROYAL ALBERT HALL being My Most interesting place.
Haha.

ML ORAL O LEVELS... DONE...YAY

I was Very EXHAUSTED in the morning esp during EL lessons. I dunno why.But her lesson today was very interesting, just that im too tired and lethargic due to lack of sleep.

Didn't manage to focus during POA and Maths Lessons cause ML O LEVEL Lisan was only in 2 hrs time. Slacked during POA. That's very bad.

THEN..

ML ORAL O LEVEL.
Once i saw the first person, Farhana, entered the comp room(where the examiners are, my heart begin to beat as fast as the bullet train in China. The feeling was really scary. Maiqh and Nab was beside. Then, MaiQh went to the table where we will be given 5 mins to prepare. She entered the room, which means im supposed to be preparing my reading. Nervous. That was the only feeling that was revolving around my mind at that instance.

I entered the room. The examiners were extremely friendly. I started reading. It was horrible, really. I made more than two mistakes. Damn it!!!

The Conversation was the BEST! I enjoyed. I remembered i mention about Singing And Acting as something i really like to do during free time, About how i was inspired by Celine DIon to sing and how i wanted to be the 1st Singaporean and Asian Singer to perform at Las Vegas.

Conversation ended. argh... Wish i could talk longer.

STrange & Weird Dream On Friday the 13th

I Dreamt that i gt f9 for all my subjects during O Levels. That was the WORST WORST WORST dream i've ever had. On top of that, i had to retake my O levels and was being transferred to 4e4. That was shockening. I remembered it was tough adapting to an environment that was a year younger.

I think it's a Wake-up-Call for me to start intensive revision. I have to buck-up from now on.

I SHOULD,WILL and MUST START NOW.. Or it would be too late.

Yeah.Had such a great day.

First up, met Azryl Liyana Fariha @ Mrt to go BUGIS.
The First Shop we(azryl and me)went was TOPMAN.Haha.
What's new. We are Topman adddicts
There wasn't much sale actually. It's only the third week of june Hols and all the sale are no longer there.

Besides, there wasn't any nice shirt.

Next we went to BUGIS STREET to find a gift for Ms Cai's House Warming party tmr but we could nt find any, unfortunately. I'll just buy it tmr. There were nice checkered shirt at Bugis Street. But, they were TOO BIG for me.Sad. How i wish i am taller.

We came back to Tampines mall cause i wanted to but this white and black stripe shirt from FRESHBOX. I've been waiting for atleast 2 weeks to buy it. I am glad that it was still there. I dreamt that it was Out-Of-Stock.

A LEAP OF LOVE

I just finished reading that book today.
I was reading it since May but had to stop reading for a while as MYE were around the corner. Credits to CARLEEN for lending the bk to me.

The book is one of the most best stories of everlasting love between two souls that only meet 4 years once. 29 February. The leap year. Distance and time never play a part to seperate Li-ann and Jeremy. No matter how far they can be, their commitment and devotion for one another never fade off.In fact, it develops.

The problem happens when she found out Jeremy has a fiancee, Florence. That happen during the first leap year. In the next leap year, she waited for jeremy's arrival and thought that he will not be coming. A few days before the third leap year, Florence met Li-ann. Suprisingly, she came to persuade Li-ann to be married to Jeremy instead of her enemy. It was funny, i thought.

This are just some parts of the story. If you are interested, read the book.

Hanna's Back

I don't meant it literally.
But She's Definitely MUCH MUCH better Now.

It all started when i met with liyana at Tampines MRT Platform, then we waited for Fariha and Hafiz. We started to talk random matters like some gay stuffs (very funny sei the fariha & liyana tells the joke).

We reached TTSH. That's the best part.

First of all we went to the wrong ward; 12D instead of 12A.
Liyana realised that the ward was much humid than the one that we went last Sunday.Furthermore, we saw 6 beds in one room. We were absolutely sure that it wasn't hanna's ward. Hanna is in the ward A; only one person in the room.

Secondly, Mr Thia and some of the 4E6 people came. Mr Thia! His last day in S'pore. His last day with us, 4E6.He came to say farewell to hanna and the rest. Awkward, it was. he thought that we were too scared to even communicate with one another.

Thirdly, we met Dhab unintentionally. She had to rush back to her tuition back which was in Habourfront in 15 minutes. Pity her. She managed to visit hanna though.

Lastly, the lift scene in TTSH. We entered a lift. It was too packed and crowded with people thar there was a noise to indicate that it was too FULL. We took another lift. It was as packed as the previous one. But less packed. Then we started laughing cos all of us were packed like sardines. NO AIR. The song that fits that situation perfectly.

Hanna, that's my one of bestfriends. Life is so DULL when she's not arnd. Today we had lessons; Phy,Geo, Chem and SS. She was not her usual self today. Simply because she's sick. I didn't manage to count the number of times she actually said "huh" today. Her voice is very faint.

Started off the day with Poa Lesson

Learnt abt Goodwill and Amalgamation

Then we had EL. Ms Liu came in to teach instead of Mdm Noreha. Ms Liu and her weird movements.

Subsequently, Geography lesson.

It's Mrs Lee last lesson. Gonna miss her. She's very kind & caring. Talked abt how weird to see Shaheezan having babies and talked to IRA abt jobs(part-time) and fishes that have moustache . It was the first time that 4e6 was so CHAOTIC.

DRAMA WAS FUN :)

Came for Drama Prac Today and it was super fun.

It has been such a long time since i've met them.

Talked w pple like Shahida, Syahirah and Others like Jun Hao

I missed out on a lot of hot-gossips during my absence in Drama.

Quite fun to actually hear them again.

After that, i went to eat lunch with Shahida & Jun Hao @ KFC.
